Route highlights
Road and riding conditions
Good tarmac Shillong-Dawki-Cherrapunji with narrow single-lane village stretches near Mawlynnong. The Dawki descent is steep with blind hairpins; the plains around Dawki get very hot even in winter.
Comfortable for families; only the Wei Sawdong and Nongriat approach tracks need clearance.
