    Road and riding conditions

    NH6 is fully surfaced four-lane for most of the route with a two-lane hill section after Nongpoh. Expect heavy truck traffic and avoid riding after dark on the final ghat climb.

    Carry a rain shell year round — hill showers arrive without warning above Nongpoh.
